How Red Line RL-2 Helped a 2024 IVECO Eurocargo Improve Fuel Efficiency

Hiral Patel, who operates a 2024 IVECO Eurocargo, tested Red Line RL-2 Diesel Ignition Improver in his truck for a month and tracked the results closely.

The truck uses IVECO ON, IVECO’s advanced connectivity and engine management system, to monitor fuel use and driver performance in real time.

Drivers and fleet managers can view this data through the IVECO Easy Cargo App, giving them a practical way to measure vehicle efficiency from a smartphone.

Hiral’s truck’s built-in truck management system provides detailed data on fuel consumption, average speed, and diagnostics, making it easy to monitor real-world performance. To verify the readings, he also kept a manual log and found that it matched the digital results.

After using Red Line RL-2 Diesel Ignition Improver, he recorded an 8.2% improvement in fuel efficiency.

Hiral’s route runs from the Mainfreight depot in Wellington city through to Lower Hutt and up to Wingate, often with varying load weights. Even on heavier runs, he noticed the truck performed smoothly with the additive.

“The truck runs really well with the RL-2 additive. The extra power helps, and you can feel and hear how much smoother it is overall. I’m very happy with the product and will definitely get more when I run out.”

RL-2 is formulated for both summer and winter and will stay in suspension without agitation and can be used in storage tanks.
