The Raptor uses Redline Two Stroke Racing Oil

REDLINE TWO STROKE RACING OIL IN THE F-22 RAPTOR

 

 Paul Buckrell has consistently utilized 1% Redline Two Stroke Racing Oil plus 4% Mobil DTE Lite for his F-22 Raptor turbine powered replica, achieving flight times of 10 to 11 minutes.

Redline Two Stroke Racing Oil has proven to be instrumental in maintaining the engines optimal performance during the initial start phase.

He continues to use it with confidence.

He possesses a 1in7 scale model of the F-22 Raptor, which serves as a representation of America's air dominance capabilities.

Alongside fellow pilot Andrew Stiver, Paul has achieved flight certification, allowing them to operate the model at public events.


 

The Raptor has received recognition for modern military excellence at the Warbirds over Wanaka airshow.

The specifications of the Raptor are as follows: 

- Length: 2.7 meters 

- Wingspan: 1.95 meters 

- Power: A single-stage turbine generating 260 Newtons expelled through a bifurcated exhaust system 

- Fueled weight: 35 kilograms 

- Fuel: Jet-A1 combined with 4% Mobil DTE Lite and 1% Redline 2T 

- Fuel capacity: 8.2 liters, providing approximately 11 minutes of flight time. 

 

 

 

 

 

As at 31 March 25 the model has had 25  flights totaling 235 minutes of flight time.
